Job Description Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.

Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met.

Serve as the F-35 Core Processing (CPSW) Software  this role, the candidate will drive the F-35 CPSWsoftware architecture decisions for all F-35 contracts.

The candidate will be responsible for making highleveldesign decisions, work to enforce technical standards for all supported platforms and design forre-use and affordability. This will require significant experience with F-35 Mission Systems architecture,display software, and knowledge of how F-35

CPSW fit into the F-35 architectural paradigm. The successful candidate will also have experience with multiple software architectures, including both core processing infrastructures and applications tosupport architecture decisions. The candidate will be required to interface with the customer so must have a strong knowledge of howthe ultimate customer uses the software, how to interact with those users in a supportive, butbusiness-wise manner. In addition, the candidate will evaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes to ensure the highest quality product.

Finally, the candidate will be required to work in anagile software development environment and coordinate with Product Owners and other peer organizations to ensure the design and implementation of display software to address thefor solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards,processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree required in Computer Science andor Software Engineering. Experience in the following:

Technical Lead experience
• CPI architectures typically found in aircraft systems
• Middleware, firmware, drivers, and core processing software languageimplementations typically found in aircraft systems
• software development in C++ specifically aimedat embedded avionics and aircraft systems
• scripting experience (Python, Perl, etc.)
• operating systems (Green Hills, Linux, etc.) for embedded Real-Time environments used in avionicand aircraft systems
