The Role
The Warehouse Associate II – Receiving Associate at S&S Activewear is responsible for maintaining an organized workstation, streamlining products to their final destinations within our automated system, assisting with training new hires, delivering and receiving product from conveyor systems, interfacing with customers, processing received goods, replenishing product within the automated picking system, fulfilling customer orders, and reviewing and packing orders to verify accuracy and ensure shipping standards.
CompensationAnd Schedule
$19.57 hourly – Monday to Friday, full‑time, non‑exempt.
What You Will Do- Operate all material handling equipment needed to perform primary role (order picker cart).
- Perform and complete daily safety inspections checklist for all equipment used.
- Effectively utilize/operate and navigate the data collection equipment used in the department (RF scanners, tablets, etc.).
- Perform discrepancy counts, recounts and user‑created cycle counts as assigned and directed.
- Unload/load trailers.
- Provide assistance support to all other functions within the department such as case pick, restock, transfer, pulling, staging and checking.
- Maintain or exceed minimum productivity requirements (CPH – count per hour).
- Must be 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to read and speak English.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment and machinery.
- Comfortable using electronic devices.
- Can lift and carry up to 50 lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Basic math skills, ability to count, add, subtract quickly and accurately.
- Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information.
- Flexibility with start and departure time changes.
- Ability to work overtime when needed.
- Ability to work independently without close supervision.
- Responsible for any additional duties assigned.
This position requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand‑eye coordination, near vision, far vision, and hearing are required for operation of warehouse machinery.
Working Environment- Employee must be able to work in a high‑volume, high‑demand environment while meeting strenuous customer deadlines.
- Employee must be able to change priorities or job duties as needed and interact with employees at all levels.
- Job performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool.
- Job performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise.
