Loading and Unloading - Material Handler

SMX is hiring Material Handlers for heavy loading and unloading for our premier client, Callaway Golf. This role involves shipping, receiving, loading and unloading, and other general labor duties in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Information
:
Monday - Friday (Saturdays & Sundays required if scheduled during peak season)

• 1st shift: 6:00AM - 6:00PM

• Hours subject to change due to mandatory overtime and range between 8-12 hours (10-12 hours during peak)

Pay Rate: $15.50 / hour

• Loading and Unloading:
  Move goods, materials and products including golf clubs, golf balls, and other golf equipment shipments on and off trucks, pallets, and other transport equipment.
• Perform general labor and support to multiple warehouse departments.
• Lift up to 70lbs repetitively, sort, stack boxes and handle other duties to receive or process orders for shipment.
• Maintain attention to detail to ensure accurate loading and unloading and identify potential issues.
• Follow safety protocols and work safely in a warehouse environment.
• Training is provided to all new associates.
• Use RF Scanner, print and place labels to scan occasionally.
• Work as part of a team to achieve Distribution Center goals.
• Warehouse is not a climate controlled facility.
• Cross-train in other departments within the warehouse.

• Previous experience in a warehouse/distribution environment.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds, repetitively, and handle general duties as assigned.
• Able to read, count accurately, and follow verbal and written directions in English.
• Able to stand and/or walk for the duration of an 8-10 hour shift.
• Ability to read and understand English instructions for safety and training purposes.

Requirements:
Background Check, Drug Test, ability to stand for shift duration, 18+ years old, HS Diploma or GED.

The hourly rate for this position is $15.50 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
