Job OverviewThe Warehouse Associate II - Receiving Associate is responsible for multiple tasks throughout the warehouse, including maintaining an organized workstation, assisting with streamlining products to their final destinations within our automated system, and interacting with customers. Responsibilities include loading/unloading trailers, operating material handling equipment, processing received goods, fulfilling orders, and ensuring shipping standards.
What You Will Do- Operate all material‑handling equipment needed to perform primary roles (order picker cart).
- Perform and complete daily safety inspection checklists for all equipment used.
- Utilize and operate data‑collection equipment (RF scanners, tablets, etc.).
- Perform discrepancy counts, recounts, and cycle counts as assigned.
- Unload/Load trailers.
- Support other functions within the department such as case pick, restock, transfer, pulling, staging, and checking.
- Maintain or exceed minimum productivity requirements (CPH – count per hour).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to read and speak English.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment and machinery.
- Comfortable using electronic devices.
- Can lift and carry up to 50 lbs on occasions.
- Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract quickly and accurately.
- Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, labels, and SKU information.
- Flexibility with start and departure times changing.
- Availability to work overtime when needed.
- Ability to work independently without close supervision.
- Responsible for any additional duties assigned.
This role requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand‑eye coordination, near vision, far vision, and hearing are required for the operation of warehouse machinery.
Working Environment- Must work in a high‑volume, high‑demand environment while meeting strenuous customer deadlines.
- Must adjust priorities or job duties as needed and interact with employees at all levels.
- Work is performed in the warehouse where conditions range from warm to cool.
- Work is performed around warehouse machines and equipment with moderate noise levels.
