The Warehouse Operator Trainee assists with day‑to‑day warehouse operations: receiving, storing, picking, and shipping materials. The trainee operates equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, follows safety protocols, maintains inventory accuracy, and supports overall warehouse efficiency.

• Assist with receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming materials and shipments.
• Organize and put away materials in designated locations.
• Accurately pick, issue, stage, and deliver material to different departments on site.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Document and record all material transactions in SAP to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily safety inspections of work areas and operating equipment.
• Perform housekeeping in work areas as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Experience with inventory systems or warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Basic computer skills.

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to communicate with management and staff professionally and effectively.
