Warehouse Associate II - Truck Unload (Second Shift)
About the Role
The Warehouse Associate II is responsible for receiving, unloading trailers, and moving product to their final destinations within our automated picking system. The role requires maintaining an organized workstation, completing safety inspections, operating RF scanners and tablets, and assisting with training new hires. The associate may also support other functions such as case picking, restocking, and staging.
Compensation & Schedule$19.57 per hour. Monday‑Friday, 2:00 PM‑10:30 PM, Full‑Time, Non‑Exempt.
What You Will Do- Operate material handling equipment, primarily an order picker cart.
- Complete daily safety inspection check‑lists for all equipment used.
- Use RF scanners, tablets, and other data collection equipment.
- Perform discrepancy counts, recounts, and cycle counts as directed.
- Unload and load trailers.
- Support other warehouse functions (case pick, restock, transfer, staging, and checking).
- Maintain productivity requirements (CPH – count per hour).
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Ability to read and speak English.
- Reliable transportation.
- Follow detailed instructions and operate warehouse equipment.
- Comfort with electronic devices and lift up to 50 lbs on occasion.
- Basic math skills (count, add, subtract).
- Identify colors, sizes, quantities, labels, and SKU information.
- Flexible with start, departure, and overtime when needed.
- Work independently without close supervision.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Wear safety toe shoes, bump caps, and safety vest as required. PPE is company‑provided with a $100 stipend for safety‑toe shoes after 90 days of employment.
Physical DemandsFrequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching of items up to 50 lbs. Requires moderate hand‑eye coordination and vision.
Working Environment- High‑volume, high‑demand warehouse setting with moderate noise.
- Requires adaptability to changing priorities and interaction with all staff levels.
- Warehouse temperatures range from warm to cool.
