Position: Experienced Senior Bookkeeper Wanted
A local construction company in Fort St. John, BC, seeks a detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper. This key role involves managing comprehensive financial records and ensuring compliance across multiple company accounts.

As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will handle various financial operations, from payroll via ADP to bank reconciliations. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong Quick Books proficiency and the ability to prioritize in a busy setting while working independently. Previous experience in construction accounting is an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a complete set of accounting books using Quick Books

• Process payroll efficiently with ADP

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable transactions

• Reconcile bank statements regularly

• Prepare month-end financial statements for review

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of bookkeeping experience required

• Construction industry experience preferred

• Superior multitasking and communication skills

• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office products

• Relevant post-secondary education in accounting
