Accounting Intern - Summer

Position: Accounting Intern at MNP - Summer 2027

This internship position is designed for students pursuing a bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration, particularly in accounting or finance. You’ll engage with clients to manage financial documents, learn about International Financial Reporting Standards, and develop critical accounting skills in a supportive environment. Your contributions will help MNP enhance client financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage new client setups and inventory counts

• Summarize financial conditions with balance sheets

• Correct financial discrepancies in documentation

• Establish charts of accounts for clients

• Build relationships with clients and team members

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in commerce or business

• Understanding of CPA education program requirements is preferred

• Prior experience in an accounting role is beneficial

• Customer service skills are an advantage

• Familiarity with accounting software is a plus
