This position under minimal supervision demands adeptness in correspondence drafting, statistical report compilation, and maintaining departmental records. Key responsibilities include handling sensitive inquiries and maintaining effective communication channels with internal and external stakeholders. Your expertise in municipal operations will contribute significantly to the smooth functioning of the department while managing a varied workload.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft correspondence and compile statistical reports
• Maintain and organize departmental records and filing systems
• Answer calls and manage a multi-line switchboard
• Transcribe meeting minutes and prepare agendas
• Assist with tender documents and financial checks
Requirements:
• Grade 12 or GED equivalent
• Certificate in Office Administration or similar field
• Three years of related office experience
• Excellent typing skills of 60 WPM
• Knowledge of municipal finance regulations
