Dawson Road Maintenance is seeking an experienced Roving Road Foreperson to enhance road safety across the province. You will oversee maintenance crews and sub-contractors while ensuring compliance with MoTT maintenance specifications. An extensive background in road maintenance and a valid Class 3 Driver's License with an Air Brake Endorsement are required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise maintenance activities of teams and sub-contractors
• Ensure safety protocols are prioritized at all times
• Communicate effectively with government and stakeholders
• Operate equipment as needed based on qualifications
• Function independently while following scheduled work plans
Requirements:
• Minimum three (3) years in management-level roles
• Minimum five (5) years of road maintenance experience
• Valid Class 3 Driver's License with Air Brake Endorsement
• Clean driver's abstract for compliance
• Ability to adapt to outdoor conditions and shift work
