Enhance visitor experiences as a Tourism Ambassador in Dawson Creek, with a focus on customer service and local connections. This full-time, seasonal role offers an opportunity to welcome guests and support tourism initiatives.

In this position, you will work under the guidance of the Tourism, Emergency and Climate Readiness Manager, assisting in creating memorable experiences for visitors. Key responsibilities include connecting guests with local businesses and managing operational tasks at the mobile visitor center. The role requires excellent communication skills and an ability to work independently to promote Dawson Creek.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist visitors in tailoring their travel experiences

• Welcome tourists and provide guidance at Cairn/NAR Park

• Handle retail operations including transactions and inventory

• Maintain cleanliness of merchandise and brochures

• Support event tourism with welcome packages

Requirements:

• Valid BC Driver’s License required

• Aged between 15 and 30 years

• Compliance with a Criminal Record Search

• Ability to work independently when needed

• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
