Registered Dental Hygienist

Position: Registered Dental Hygienist Northern Health

As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will report to the Program Lead and provide essential dental health prevention and promotion services. Your work will adhere to the standards set by the British Columbia College of Oral Health Professionals. Candidates with community health experience are preferred, and travel is required to deliver services in surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial and ongoing clinical client assessments

• Provide dental health education to clients individually and in groups

• Integrate current research into your practice decisions

• Collaborate with healthcare teams and communicate effectively

• Manage time efficiently to prioritize tasks and objectives

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution

• Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in BC

• Minimum one year of recent dental hygiene experience

• Valid BC driver’s license and use of personal vehicle

• Ability to perform the physical demands of the position
