Position: District requires a 0.60 FTE TERM English Language Learner (ELL) Teacher
Location: Dawson Creek

Effective immediately until June 30, 2026 or until the return of incumbent, whichever comes first.

This position will be based in Dawson Creek and will work with the District English Language Learner team to support schools in all district communities. This position includes weekly support of the schools in Chetwynd and area.

This position is for an English Language Learner (ELL) teacher in both primary and secondary schools. The ELL teacher will work with teachers to support English Language Learners, and will collaborate towards the goal of helping students to become more proficient in the English language in order to access their curriculum. This will include the use of technology to help support ELL learners.

Coursework in English language learning and/or courses in supporting diverse learners is preferred.
