CE Summer Camp Instructor - Esthetics and Hair

Term of App't: July & August for a total of 75 hours

Reporting to: Dean of Continuing Education

Location: Dawson Creek and Fort St. John, BC

Salary:

Wages will be negotiated (non-bargaining work/non-credit)

Northern Lights College's Continuing Education Department is looking to hire an individual with experience in Esthetics and Hair and has a passion for instructing youth.

Camps will run in July and August for a duration of 5 consecutive days and will be focused on youth in grades 8 through 12.
*** The successful candidate will be required to successfully pass a Police Information Check prior to the start of the contract.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Subject matter expert
• Certification of Qualification with Esthetics & Hair
• Minimum of 2-year recent industry experience in Esthetics & Hair
• Understanding of safety in the classroom and teaching the students
• Committed to student motivation and success
• Ability to collaborate as an effective team member
• Current, valid driver's license
• Knowledge of rules and regulation of specific trade
