School Psychologist

Position: Full-Time School Psychologist Role
Embark on a rewarding career as a School Psychologist with School District No. 60 starting September 2025. This full-time position focuses on enhancing educational experiences through psychological support.

This role will work within Learning Services, addressing the psychological needs of students through assessments and consultations. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will engage with teachers, parents, and community resources to implement effective intervention strategies. Ongoing collaboration is essential for student success and educational efficacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psycho-educational assessments for students

• Collaborate on classroom planning with educational staff

• Provide consultation on assessments and interventions

• Assist in pre-referral processes for students

• Lead professional development sessions for school staff

Requirements:

• Doctorate or Master's in school psychology or related area

• Current membership in good standing with the College of Health Care Professionals

• Knowledge of relevant educational policies

• Strong background in behavior management strategies

• Ability to flexibly participate in meetings
