Intermediate Teacher

Position: Intermediate Teacher Role
School District No. 60 invites applications for a temporary part time Intermediate Teacher at C.M. Finch Elementary School in Fort St. John. This role is designed for educators passionate about community engagement and student-centered learning.

Starting September 1, 2026, until June 30, 2027, candidates must hold a valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate. Successful applicants will showcase effective teaching strategies, including universal design and social-emotional learning practices. C.M. Finch Elementary is dedicated to fostering a positive school culture where every student feels valued and included.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create inclusive instructional strategies for diverse student groups

• Engage in collaborative planning with staff to enhance education

• Implement effective classroom management and assessment techniques

• Promote a safe and caring classroom atmosphere

• Ensure lessons align with BC Curriculum standards

Requirements:

• Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate

• Experience with differentiation in teaching
