Position: Full-Time Foods/Career Life Teacher Needed
North Peace Secondary School is seeking a full-time Foods and Career Life Education Teacher for the  school year. Join School District No. 60 and contribute to a diverse educational community.

This position, effective September 1, 2026, focuses on fostering students' skills in Foods and Career Life Education while supporting social-emotional learning initiatives. Candidates should hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and have a solid understanding of inclusive teaching practices. The role includes collaboration with staff to enhance learning outcomes for a varied student population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement an engaging curriculum

• Promote an inclusive classroom environment for all students

• Utilize assessment methods to support learning

• Work collaboratively with staff to enhance student engagement

• Apply effective classroom management strategies

Requirements:

• Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate

• Experience teaching secondary education

• Knowledge of universal design and differentiated instruction

• Commitment to fostering a caring classroom community

• Certification to teach Food Safe required
