Become an Electrical Instructor at Northern Lights College, where you'll deliver high-quality training across all electrician levels. Engage students through cutting-edge instruction and hands-on lab experience while promoting safe practices.

This temporary position operates for 30 hours weekly until December 2026. Ideal candidates possess an Interprovincial Red Seal Electrician certification and prioritize student success in a collaborative learning setting. This role directly supports additional cohorts preparing for the Interprovincial Red Seal examination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach the comprehensive Electrical program from Foundation to Level 4

• Emphasize safe work practices during practical training sessions

• Facilitate classroom instruction and manage lab activities

• Foster a supportive atmosphere for student engagement

• Ensure readiness of students for certification testing

Requirements:

• Interprovincial Red Seal Electrician certification is required

• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities

• Experience working in a post-secondary education environment

• Passionate about student success and collaboration

• Previous teaching experience in Construction Electrician curriculum preferred
