Position: Inclusion Teacher for Diverse Learners
Step into a rewarding role as an Inclusion Resource Teacher with School District No. 60 starting September 1, 2026. Play a crucial part in supporting diverse learners and promoting inclusion.

This part-time (0.8) temporary position at Learning Services runs until June 30, 2027. Candidates must possess a valid BC Teaching Certificate and a Master's degree (or relevant coursework) in Special Education. You will engage with students, educators, and families to foster a culture of supportive learning and inclusion throughout the district.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teams to enhance student engagement

• Design and implement IEPs tailored to individual needs

• Monitor and assess learner progress using diverse methods

• Employ instructional strategies for diverse learning needs

• Participate in ongoing professional development initiatives

Requirements:

• Valid BC Teaching Certificate or eligibility

• Strong understanding of inclusive education practices

• Experience supporting students with various needs

• Capacity to work collaboratively with school teams

• Valid driver's license for rural school travel
