Position: Part-Time Learning Assistance Teacher Role

Be a catalyst for student engagement at South Peace Campus as a part-time Learning Assistance Teacher. Designed for grades 10-12, this position focuses on inclusive and adaptive educational practices for all learners.

This role begins on September 1, 2026, at a secondary school serving 600 students. You will promote learner-centered instruction and develop individualized learning plans to accommodate students' diverse needs. Collaborate with faculty members to reflect on and enhance your teaching methods, ensuring student achievement and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach in inclusive classrooms that support all abilities

• Customize curriculum to fit individual learning styles

• Create and implement personalized learning plans

• Ensure effective classroom management

• Work alongside colleagues to refine teaching practices

Requirements:

• Hold or be eligible for BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate

• Complete K-12 teacher training with practicum

• Legally able to work in Canada

• Experience in classroom settings with diverse behaviors

• Effective management skills for diverse learning environments
