Position: Classroom Assistant for Workforce Training
Location: Dawson Creek

Become a key player in the Workforce Training & Continuing Education team as a Classroom Assistant. This role involves supporting instructors and students with various administrative tasks during classes.

The Classroom Assistant will work Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week, until August 21, 2026. In this position, you will assist with classroom preparation, student packages, attendance monitoring, and clerical duties. Your contribution will ensure a productive learning environment while you collaborate closely with the instructor and support students effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare classrooms and essential supplies

• Assist students under instructor's guidance

• Monitor attendance and student progress

• Maintain and update student files

• Perform clerical tasks like word processing

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED completion

• Proficiency in MS Office applications

• Valid driver’s license required

• Residency in Canada and work authorization

• Knowledge of basic carpentry tools preferred
