Position: Certified Education Assistant with Meals Duties
Become a Certified Education Assistant at Duncan Cran Elementary School, actively participating in educational support and overseeing daily School Meals functions. Engage with special-needs students in a supportive classroom environment.

This position requires collaboration with teachers and district personnel to assist students with learning and behavioural challenges. The selected candidate will help implement educational strategies, maintain student safety, and serve nutritious school meals. Training sessions by medical staff will be provided as necessary for optimal student care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in delivering educational programs

• Supervise students in various settings including classrooms and trips

• Document academic and behavioural assessment data

• Conduct training on behaviour management techniques

• Maintain health and personal care records for students

Requirements:

• Completed Grade 12 or equivalent education

• Proven skills in developing positive student relationships

• Formal POPARD training or relevant experience

• Ability to manage conflict and demonstrate adaptability

• WHMIS Certificate and driving license needed
