Support students' emotional and academic growth as a Counsellor Teacher at South Peace Campus. This role includes career guidance and a focus on health and awareness programs.

Effective September 1, 2026, this position incorporates one teaching block. The Counsellor Teacher will collaborate with the School Based Team to enhance students’ well-being and ensure effective course selection. Daily interactions with parents and consultations with the Learning Services Team are essential parts of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students in career exploration and course selection

• Support parents in understanding education options and services

• Regularly meet with parents for academic updates

• Collaborate with the Learning Services Team for student support

• Develop programs promoting health and career awareness

Requirements:

• Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate

• K-12 teacher training and practicum documentation

• Eligible to work legally in Canada

• Willingness to complete a Master’s Degree in Counselling
