Position: Clinical Instructor for Practical Nursing
Become a Clinical Instructor with Northern Lights College in Fort St. John, BC. This temporary role teaches practical nursing theory and practice with a focus on aging and chronic illness.
Northern Lights College seeks a full-time instructor for its Practical Nursing Program. You will deliver APN 136:
Consolidated Practice Experience A, guiding learners in applying theoretical knowledge to clinical settings. Key areas include medication administration, nursing care, comprehensive health assessments, and leadership development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver APN 136 course content and practical instruction

• Guide learners in nursing care for aging clients

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments in residential care

• Emphasize medication administration and wound care

• Foster an evidence-informed learning environment
Requirements:

• Diploma in Practical Nursing or relevant degree

• Current LPN, RPN, RN, or NP license in BC

• Minimum three to five years of recent nursing experience

• Completed coursework in Indigenous cultural safety

• Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities
