Temporary Education Support Worker Position

The Board Office is looking for one Temporary Education Support Worker who will support students and staff effectively. Ideal candidates will have a Grade 12 diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and an Education Assistant Diploma or equivalent coursework. The role demands strong interpersonal skills and flexibility to work in diverse settings while fostering positive relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students with special needs in various educational settings

• Demonstrate specific strategies and interventions for student success

• Foster positive relationships with students and staff

• Work independently and as part of a collaborative team

• Implement reference and regulate practices effectively

Requirements:

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent GED

• At least five years as a Special Education Level 2 Support Worker

• Valid driver's license and current vehicle

• Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum and special needs

• Strong communication and flexibility in practice
