This term position is designed for candidates passionate about supporting student learning and wellness initiatives. The specialist will collaborate closely with students, identifying their unique barriers and providing essential resources to promote success. You will also manage specialized workshops, ensuring they are pedagogically sound and impact-driven.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess academic monitoring needs of students
• Create and implement engaging academic success workshops
• Oversee the student alert system and faculty training
• Craft safety plans for at-risk students
• Implement community wellness education programs
Requirements:
• Master's degree in a relevant discipline
• 3-5 years in educational support environments
• Knowledge in crisis intervention strategies
• Strong presentation and organizational skills
• Must travel between campuses as needed
