School District No. 60 (Peace River North) seeks a passionate educator to inspire K-6 students at this Fine Arts focus school in Fort St. John, BC. This position requires a valid BC Teaching Certificate and proficiency in both written and oral French. Candidates should have experience in differentiated instruction, balanced literacy, and classroom management, promoting a safe and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach French Immersion subjects to primary students

• Collaborate with staff to enhance student learning

• Assess and manage the classroom proactively

• Integrate Fine Arts and technology into lessons

• Develop individualized lesson plans reflecting BC Curriculum

Requirements:

• Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate

• Experience in French Immersion at the intermediate level

• Strong French communication skills (written & oral)

• Knowledge of Social Emotional Learning principles
