Position: School Meals Coordinator Position
Join our School Meals Program to play a vital role in providing nutritious lunches for students across the District. You will purchase groceries, prepare meals, and deliver them directly to classrooms.

This role involves flexibility in your schedule, typically Tuesday to Thursday, with daily hours of five. You’ll report to site Administrative Officers and the District Food Program Coordinator, ensuring compliance with Food Safe requirements and nutritional guidelines. Your responsibilities include maintaining meal records and coordinating with teachers for student meal lists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Purchase groceries economically and efficiently

• Comply with student meal lists from classroom teachers

• Prepare foods following Food Safe requirements

• Ensure allergies and nutritional standards are met

• Assemble and deliver lunches to classrooms

Requirements:

• Grade 10 or equivalent education

• Valid Food Safe Certificate

• Class 5 Driver's license and reliable vehicle

• Experience in a food-related role is an asset

• Ability to pass a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Records Search

Support students' nutrition through effective meal preparation and delivery.
