School District No. 60 (Peace River North) is in search of a dedicated educator who is committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom. Candidates must possess a valid BC Teaching Certificate and exhibit strong verbal and written proficiency in French. With a focus on balanced literacy and an understanding of differentiated instruction, you will encourage student achievement in this diverse educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Educate primary students in French Immersion curriculum

• Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning

• Maintain a positive classroom environment

• Incorporate Fine Arts into lesson plans

• Develop units according to BC Curriculum

Requirements:

• Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate

• Experience with French Immersion teaching

• Proficient oral and written French skills

• Ability to create inclusive lesson plans

• Understanding of Social Emotional Learning principles
