This position entails working closely with teachers and counselors to provide individualized care and support. You will contribute to the implementation of life skills programs and crisis management initiatives while monitoring student progress. Your efforts will significantly enhance the lives of students in need of support throughout the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage in student progress and placement meetings
• Assist in developing and evaluating life skills programs
• Provide crisis intervention both individually and in teams
• Facilitate group sessions under the school counselor's guidance
• Maintain thorough records of interventions and outcomes
Requirements:
• High school diploma, Grade 12 equivalent required
• Minimum two years of college coursework related to youth care
• Certification in Crisis Prevention Intervention needed
• Experience in conflict resolution or behavior management
• Valid driver's license and good driving record mandatory
Contribute to the success of students at North Peace Secondary School through dedicated care and support.
