Position: Temporary Special Education Teacher Role
Join School District No. 60 as a part-time Prep/SERT Teacher at Anne Roberts Young Elementary for the  school year. This position prioritizes collaboration and innovative teaching to support diverse learners.

The ideal candidate will help shape an inclusive learning environment at Anne Roberts Young Elementary School. As a temporary Prep/SERT Teacher, you will work collaboratively, applying universal design and teaching strategies tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to social-emotional learning are key in fostering a positive classroom culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate in a pod-based teaching model

• Tailor lessons to fit diverse learning needs

• Promote a caring classroom community through engagement

• Utilize assessment practices that foster student growth

• Develop individual plans for students with learning challenges

Requirements:

• BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate or eligible

• Expertise in differentiated instruction

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities

• Knowledge of the BC Curriculum

• Experience with students with special needs
