School Psychologist

Position: Full-Time School Psychologist Role
Join School District No. 60 (Peace River North) as a full-time School Psychologist and make a significant impact on student wellbeing from September 2026 to June 2027. This role involves active participation in multidisciplinary team efforts to address educational needs.

As a psychologist, you will provide assessments, collaborate on intervention strategies, and play a key role in enhancing both classroom and individual student experiences. You’ll participate in ongoing planning and consultation, ensuring that every child’s strengths are recognized and cultivated within a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide psycho-educational assessments for students

• Collaborate with a team to design interventions

• Conduct in-services for educators and staff

• Consult with parents and community agencies

• Assist in student designation processes

Requirements:

• Relevant advanced degree in educational psychology

• Membership with the BC College of Health Care Professionals

• Familiarity with the Ministry of Education guidelines

• Experience in differentiation to meet diverse needs

• Commitment to enhancing student learning
