Indigenous Student Recruiter

Position: Indigenous Student Recruiter at Northern Lights College
Northern Lights College seeks a dynamic Indigenous Student Recruiter to inspire and mentor Indigenous students. This role centers on building connections and promoting educational opportunities at various community events and platforms.

Reporting to the Manager of Student Recruitment, this position is integral in supporting Indigenous communities. The successful candidate will engage with prospective students via school visits, campus tours, and digital outreach. You will collaborate with Indigenous Student Navigators to identify barriers, support applicants, and facilitate connections with community service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement recruitment activities targeting Indigenous communities

• Engage with prospective students through face-to-face and virtual meetings

• Promote College programs via workshops and presentations

• Collaborate with Indigenous Student Navigators for support

• Manage recruitment events and activities effectively

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education from a recognized institution

• Understanding of Indigenous educational challenges

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Familiarity with digital recruiting practices

• Current valid Driver's License and willingness to travel
