This role is centered on supporting diverse learners through effective teaching strategies and collaborative efforts at Learning Services. Candidates must demonstrate a solid grasp of inclusive education, including Response to Intervention (RTI) and Positive Behaviour Supports. Your experience with students who require additional learning support will be invaluable in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop inclusive strategies for diverse student needs
• Support and assess students across various learning modalities
• Collaborate with school teams and families effectively
• Create and implement IEPs and curricular adaptations
• Participate in curriculum development and team meetings
Requirements:
• BC Teaching Certificate or eligibility to obtain
• Master’s degree or related coursework in education
• Knowledge of Social Emotional Learning (SEL) principles
• Proficiency in assessment practices and instructional technology
• Must hold a valid driver's license for travel
