Position: Ecole Central French Immersion Resource Teacher
Ecole Central Elementary School in Fort St. John needs a part time French Immersion Resource Teacher from September 2026 to June 2027. Contribute your skills in supporting diverse learners.

As part of School District No. 60 (Peace River North), you will work at a K-6 Fine Arts school fostering early French immersion since kindergarten. For this role, candidates need a valid teaching certificate and must complete a French fluency assessment. You will have responsibilities that focus on inclusive education practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support diverse learners in an inclusive classroom setting

• Engage in literacy and numeracy instruction effectively

• Create and maintain student-centered IEP plans

• Collaborate with educators for optimal student support

• Utilize technology for assessment and instruction

Requirements:

• Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate

• Master’s degree or experience in Special Education

• Strong commitment to inclusion and diversity

• Experience in crisis prevention training

• Flexibility to attend after-school meetings
