Join Dawson Creek Secondary School as a Teacher-Counsellor, effective September 1, 2026. This hybrid role supports academic growth and social-emotional development for Grades 10–12 students at South Peace Campus.

Your role includes providing educational support, assisting with career planning, and engaging parents in the student's educational journey. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with school staff to create individualized and effective learning programs. Strong classroom management and the ability to adapt curriculum to meet diverse student needs are essential to fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote students’ academic and emotional well-being

• Guide students in course selection and their future paths

• Collaborate with school personnel on program development

• Maintain regular communication with parents

• Consult with the Learning Services Team for health awareness

Requirements:

• Valid BC Teaching Certificate or qualifications

• Proven teaching experience in K-12

• Legal eligibility to work in Canada

• Experience working with diverse student groups

• Strong literacy and numeracy skills
