Position: Resource Teacher for Inclusive Education
Become a part time Resource Teacher specializing in Inclusion with School District No. 60, starting September 2026. Engage directly with students and educators to enrich the learning experience.

This temporary position at Learning Services focuses on providing tailored support to students facing diverse educational challenges. With a background in Special Education required, candidates should possess expertise in implementing effective behavioral strategies and fostering collaborative approaches. You will play a crucial role in cultivating an inclusive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess diverse learners and adjust teaching strategies accordingly

• Offer direct support to students with special needs

• Facilitate the development of collaborative IEPs

• Work closely with educational staff and provide training

• Utilize assessment data to inform instructional practices

Requirements:

• Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate

• Master’s degree or ongoing coursework in Inclusive Education

• Experience with varied instructional strategies

• Ability to use technology for student support

• Must be adaptable and willing to travel
