Position: Positive Classroom Discipline Teacher
Location: Dawson Creek

Join our teaching team as an Intermediate Teacher starting September 2026. Candidates should focus on Restorative Practice and be open to incorporating Positive Classroom Discipline.

We are excited to fill the Intermediate Teacher position from September 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, or until the incumbent returns. Ideal applicants will have a foundation in Restorative Practice or a willingness to receive training in this area. Active participation in Positive Classroom Discipline is essential for fostering a constructive educational atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop dynamic lesson plans for intermediate grades

• Employ Restorative Practice within the classroom

• Foster a supportive learning environment for all students

• Communicate effectively regarding student progress

• Work collaboratively on student discipline and support

Requirements:

• Teaching certification with experience at the intermediate level

• Eagerness to engage in Restorative Practice training

• Commitment to Positive Classroom Discipline approaches

• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities

• Desire to inspire students and promote inclusivity
