Métis Family Wellness Program Coordinator

Lead culturally relevant nutrition education with the Métis Family Wellness Program Coordinator role. Engage families, providers, and community partners to promote healthy eating and positive early childhood development.

This position emphasizes program development, community engagement, and stakeholder collaboration. You will refine the Métis Food Program Framework and support community-driven initiatives while coordinating workshops that enrich food literacy and nutrition education. Key Responsibilities:

• Refine and implement the Métis Food Program Framework

• Conduct research to identify program opportunities

• Develop program guidelines and resource supports

• Support planning of nutrition education workshops

• Analyze feedback for program transparency and accountability

Requirements:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or related field

• Minimum three years of program coordination experience

• Strong understanding of Métis culture and food systems

• Excellent project management and advocacy skills

• Ability to engage and communicate effectively with community members
