French Immersion Resource Teacher

Position: French Immersion Resource Teacher Needed
Ecole Central Elementary School is hiring a temporary part time French Immersion Resource Teacher for the  school year. Share your knowledge in an inclusive education environment.

This role with School District No. 60 (Peace River North) is key to supporting the Fine Arts French Immersion program for K-6 students. The position requires a BC teaching certificate and involves a French fluency assessment. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of inclusive educational practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster an inclusive learning environment for all students

• Plan and deliver effective literacy and numeracy instruction

• Develop customized IEPs for diverse learners

• Collaborate with staff to create an effective support system

• Implement technology to enhance instructional methods

Requirements:

• Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate

• Master’s degree or relevant coursework in education

• Proven experience in inclusion and differentiation

• Knowledge of BC Curriculum and assessment practices

• Willingness to engage in professional development
