Join Northern Lights College as a part-time Early Childhood Education instructor and inspire the next generation of educators. Teach vital courses remotely from Dawson Creek or Fort St John to help students thrive in diverse learning environments.

In this temporary part-time position, you will deliver foundational courses like Health, Safety, and Nutrition and Guiding and Caring for the Early Childhood Education program. Classes occur between 8:45 and 11:40 am, allowing you to impart crucial skills and knowledge to future professionals in the sector.

Your role is pivotal in ensuring students learn effective practices to support young children's development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate HDEC 102:
Health, Safety, and Nutrition via video-conference

• Conduct HDEC 103:
Guiding and Caring with emphasis on positive practices

• Create an inclusive learning environment for diverse students

• Assess and support student learning outcomes effectively

• Develop course content and resources for students

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Care and Learning

• 3 years' experience in licensed childcare environments

• Prior instructional experience at the post-secondary level

• ECEC Diploma with Infant/Toddler Certification

• Valid driver's license (Class 7N)
