Position: Resource Teacher Needed: French Immersion Focus
School District No. 60 seeks a part-time French Immersion Resource Teacher for Ecole Central Elementary School from September 2026 to June 2027. Contribute to student success in an inclusive setting.

At Ecole Central, you will support K-6 French Immersion students, focusing on inclusive practices and enhancing their educational experiences. Your expertise will guide diverse learners, ensuring effective differentiation and support tailored to individual needs within a Fine Arts framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and assess French Immersion instructional strategies

• Develop IEPs and utilize data for student progress

• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and specialists

• Engage in crisis Prevention and Intervention training

• Attend meetings and professional responsibilities outside school hours

Requirements:

• Valid BC Teaching Certificate or eligibility

• Required participation in French fluency assessment

• Preferred Master’s degree in Special Education

• Proven experience with varied learning needs and supports

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
