Inclusion Resource Teacher in Peace River North

School District No. 60 (Peace River North) is seeking a part-time Inclusion Resource Teacher effective September 1, 2026. This role focuses on fostering inclusive learning environments through collaboration with students, educators, and families.

In this temporary 0.6 position at Learning Services, you will support diverse learners, implement effective teaching strategies, and ensure all students thrive academically and socially. A valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate or eligibility is required, along with a Master’s degree or coursework in Special Education or Inclusive Education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with students and families for inclusive education

• Implement Positive Behaviour Supports and Functional Behaviour Analysis

• Develop and manage classroom assessments and IEPs

• Facilitate professional development meetings

• Utilize technology for instructional enhancement

Requirements:

• Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate

• Master’s degree or coursework in Special Education

• Strong commitment to inclusive practices and diverse learner support

• Experience with Social Emotional Learning strategies

• Ability to travel to multiple schools in the district
