Temporary English Language Teacher at ELL

Enhance student learning as a part-time English Language Learning Teacher at Duncan Cran Elementary School in Fort St. John, BC. This role focuses on diverse student needs and innovative teaching strategies.

School District No. 60 is seeking a temporary ELL Teacher for the  academic year. Ideal candidates will have experience using universal design and differentiation to support students. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary, along with a commitment to fostering a positive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English Language Learning to K-6 students

• Develop inclusive lesson plans tailored to diverse needs

• Collaborate with staff on enhancing student learning

• Implement effective classroom management practices

• Utilize technology for instructional and administrative tasks

Requirements:

• Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate

• Experience working with ELL students preferred

• Knowledge of social emotional learning practices

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
