Welcome to the Coyotes! Dawson Creek Secondary School – Central Campus has approximately 400 students in Grades 8 and 9. We are a community of learners, teachers and students alike, who work together, support one another and share leadership. We foster a collaborative environment where teaching teams support one another, focus on students as individuals and grow as a learning community.
At our school, we’re building a supportive environment where staff work together, form strong relationships, and grow through a shared mindset of learning. Our students are connected and engaged, knowing they’re supported every step of the way. We value our partnership with parents—keeping them informed, involved, and welcomed as an essential part of our school community.
We are seeking teachers to be a part of our team. The ideal teacher candidate begins with students at the heart of their practice; teaching the learner, not just the curriculum. They create inclusive classrooms where students of all abilities feel valued, supported, and challenged. We are seeking teachers who are open-minded professionals who collaborate, reflect, and continuously learn to improve their craft.
Grounded in research-based practice and guided by care, they strive to ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed and thrive.
