The role reports to the Administrative Officer(s), with responsibilities including compiling meal lists, preparing food in accordance with safety standards, and ensuring allergy requirements are met. This casual position requires flexibility, as hours are as needed throughout the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
• Purchase groceries while adhering to budgetary constraints
• Compile and manage monthly meal lists from teachers
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards
• Assemble nutritious lunches and deliver them to classes
• Accurately maintain financial records and report
Requirements:
• Completed Grade 10 or equivalent
• Current Food Safe Certificate required
• Class 5 Driver's license and access to a vehicle
• Relevant experience considered beneficial
• Ability to work autonomously and effectively interact
Take part in enhancing student wellness with the School Meals Program at School District #60.
