Join Ecole Frank Ross Elementary as an Education Assistant focusing on significant needs.
This role offers part-time hours from Monday to Friday during the school year.
The position is for 25.9 hours a week, with shifts running from 8:59 AM to 2:40 PM until the last day of classes in June 2027. The successful candidate will align with the BCGEU job description criteria, ensuring an enriching environment for students requiring additional support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist teachers in supporting students with significant needs
• Implement individualized education plans with guidance
• Monitor student progress and behavior throughout the day
• Provide a supportive learning environment for all students
• Communicate effectively with faculty and parents
Requirements:
• Must meet BCGEU job description criteria
• Prior experience in educational settings preferred
