Pipeline Maintenance Operators - Western Pipeline - Fort St. John, BC
Pipeline Maintenance Operators are sought by Tidewater Midstream and Infrastructure Ltd for their Fort St. John, BC operations. This role involves inspecting, repairing, and operating natural gas or oil pipeline systems to ensure safe and reliable operations. The ideal candidate will have significant pipeline or related industry experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety. - Ability to work alone with minimum supervision after training
- Prepared to work in all types of weather
- Ability to complete physical aspects of job: heavy lifting, climbing stairs, crawling under rail cars
- Must pass all required courses, including H2S and First Aid Training
- Criminal Record Check and Pre-employment testing
- 4th class Engineer certification (asset, not mandatory)
- Excellent operational problem solving
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to read pipeline schematics, maps, and technical drawings
- Knowledge of pipeline integrity, corrosion control, and pressure systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
