Pipeline Coating Technician; s

Our Operations group is currently looking to add Pipeline Coating Technician(s) to the team, based in Dawson Creek, BC.

Reporting to the Crew Foreman, we are seeking skilled and safety-conscious Coating Technician(s) to apply protective coatings to pipelines in accordance with project specifications and industry standards, ensuring the long-term integrity and performance of critical pipeline infrastructure.

Please Note:

this position will work a rotation of 6 days on / 1 day off.

• Apply protective coatings to pipelines in accordance with project specifications and industry standards
• Perform surface preparation, including abrasive blasting and cleaning
• Operate coating equipment and tools safely and efficiently
• Ensure quality control standards are met, including thickness and adhesion checks
• Assist with coating repairs and field joint applications
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and client requirements
• Complete daily reports and documentation as required

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Previous experience in the Pipeline Construction industry
• AMPP (NACE) Coating Inspector Program (CIP) certification
• All job level tickets:
  First Aid, H2S Alive, CCSO
• Must be able to pass a pre employment Drug and Alcohol Test
