Location: Dawson Creek
Become an Expert Automation Technician and make an impact through innovative control system design and implementation. This role emphasizes hands-on engagement with minimal supervision focusing on automation and process control.
In this position, you will develop detailed designs for automation systems while leading the implementation of engineering solutions that meet strict compliance and quality standards. Your hands-on experience with PLCs, AC/DC drives, and control systems will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement automation systems for manufacturing
• Coordinate project documentation and standards
• Lead testing and quality control measures
• Guide training for plant electricians and operations staff
• Maintain high technical proficiency through ongoing learning
Requirements:
• Over 5 years of experience in automation
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field
• In-depth knowledge of PLCs and HMI software
• Familiarity with statistical control techniques
• Ability to adapt to a flexible travel schedule
